OK first things first, I'd better stick some photos up of my new additions (even though they are very bad) or I'll get shot down in flames, LOL.

This is the tank that they are in.

They laid their eggs under the piece of rock in the front right hand corner. They didn't use the piece of driftwood like they did last time.

Then once they hatched they moved them into a hole in the piece of holey rock on the back wall

Now I do apologise, I still haven't got my good camera off layby yet and the old point and shoot doesn't cut the mustard unless I fluke it, and these are certainly not flukes, LOL.
So here's Mum watching over her charges

And here are both Mum and Dad looking over them.

I really wouldn't have a clue how many there are!!! They keep them herded in the hole in the rock nearly all the time, and if they do stray, they pick them up and put them back.

Now my question is, (as the title suggests) Do kribs feed their babies? Just asking as Mum seems to go scouting around the tank then comes back to the hole and spits stuff into it.

Also I've just been feeding them ground up NLS. Is that OK?

Thanks guys! And enjoy the really dodgy pics, LOL

Great pics! fraggle thumbs2:

Once fry are free swimming, they can be fed finely crush flakes, and newly hatch brine shrimp. If the tank is mature, there should be enough organic matter for the fry to eat. The parents also assist in feeding the young by spitting food to the fry. The parents will gather the fry into a school and lead them on excursions around the tank. Sometimes one parent may want to take sole care of the fry and will attack the other parent to keep it away. If this happens you should separate one of them before they kill or injure each other. If possible, do not remove the fry from the tank until the parents are ready to breed again. Removing the fry too early may result in domestic violence if the male is ready for some loving and the female is not.

Thanks Little Embers.:22: Think I was too tired last night, I was googling kribs, but couldn't find anywhere (just scanning through info) that said that they fed them!
(It's probably on AC somewhere and I just didn't look properly!)

LOL and you guys are way too kind, I know what good pics are (there are soo many posted on here) and those weren't, LOL. But thanks anyway:22: thumbs2:

My hubby and kids (and my SIL and MIL and nieces and nephew) are facinated by them, can't get the kids away from the tank (at least they won't be shy fish, they'll be used to any noises or thumps or anything that may happen, LOL). Mind you so am I. First lot of babies! Yay! And they are such good parents! Still haven't counted the babies, but I think there are LOTS! I only thought there was about 10-15 when they were in the hole, but now that they are out, there is a lot more than that. Hmmmm. I can so feel MTS rearing it's head again (I just don't know where to put it! LOL)

Well they took them on a bit of an excursion today, so I took some video of it. ( you can see them better in a video, LOL, I really need to get off my butt and get the good camera!!!) Let's see if I can get it to work!
