View Full Version : Can Anyone Help Identify?

Purchased what was supposed to be a Snowflake Moray.... But got this 16" bull frog green fellow with no markings, yellow eyes, razor sharp needle like teeth and EXTREMELY aggressive. Got any ideas? I have him sequestered by himself with an anemone til I can find out what he is, the supplier has no clue.

Looks like a green moray eel. Google it and this will come up.

Thats what I thought too... or maybe a white lip, but both are pretty docile and sedentary morays arent they? This one attacks and hunts everything constantly.

Been trying to get a better shot but when I get close he attacks the aquarium and gets even more active and aggressive. Hes even attacked anemones except for one condylactis

Ive got 3 possibilities for what he is... Green Moray, Indo Green Moray and the poor Gymnothorax Tile. Anyone got any other ideas? Ive talked to 4 aquariums in Florida, Chicago, California, and Texas.... they helped me narrow it to the 3. But all say the markings are off, and the current size is too big for the Gymnothorax Tile.
