Has anyone seen these in their area? I've seen pics. It looks like a goldfish orange Corey. The one site I saw the pic, they wanted 14 bucks apeice for them, so I gather they aren't common.

I have never seen or heard of them before. Look them up and see if they are a naturally occuring species. If they arent they are probably a dyed albino cory cat and that is a shame.

I'm guessing it's the same fertilized egg gene manipulation they use to make the neon green and red Danios. The green and red Danios were originally used for scientific research, primarily pollution detection and control. I'm guessing the neon colors were easier than trying to tag minnows.

I have orange laser cories and from what I can see they are not dyed, it is natural, but I haven't seen any quite that bright, although the website does say it is a naturally occuring color.
There is a forum dedicated to cory I believe, but I can't remember the name, see if you can find it. Those people are cory fanatics and would probably know alot more.

beauty!

He is not dyed. most dyed corys are sloppily dyed and have their lower section dyed and they often still have patches of natural color. I cant see how people could even try to harm such a cute innocent cory by dying it
