A new aquarist (Is that the term?) with a 29 gallon freshwater tank. Small community fish, planted, and whimsically decorated with dark blue gravel and resin decor. I have a small child who likes it, so we put cutsie decorations in it. My fish include a few Platies (Including the Mickey Mouse of course), a Cory cat, an Ivory snail, a small neon school of five, and a few assorted Danios. The plants incude Hornwort, Anachris, and a small common bulb plant I can't remember. The filtration is both undergravel and a power filter. I also have a large bubble wall and powerful aerator to keep the water turning in the tank and well aerated.
I did a good bit of research, so my tank is successful so far. I used the "Cycle" product to establish the bacteria and the water quality is good. My future plans for it involve mostly small colorful peaceful fish.
