Always check to make sure that you have enough dechlorinator BEFORE you do your water changes. (I've lost more fish that way)

Do research on any fish that you are interested in! Don't give in to the temptation buys before doing proper research.

Filteration is very important. Always get a good filter that can support a tank twice it's volume.

No need for mechanical air induction if your tank is setup well with lots of plants....depending on the fish you keep.

Always setup your tank loosly realative to the natural habitat of the fish your keeping. (EG... Pictus Catfish like a cave dwelling habitat, so setup a couple...)

Please dont let your aquarium fish go in the wild. I once caught a pirahna in Lake Pontchartrain and those are not supposed to live here. Do yall really want HR669 to go through?

Never clean your filter with tap water, use some of the aquarium water to do it.
