Ok..I have a 33 gallon tank thats been cycled. Currently I have 4 leopard danios, 2 clown loaches and a red tailed shark that have been living happily for about 2 weeks now.

Today I bought 6 neon tetras and the danios chased them around like crazy....3 of them died within an hour, I guess due to the stress, but it seems now the danios are leaving the remaining 3 alone.

My question is what types of fish would you reccomend for this tank?
are leopard danios considered aggressive?

First thing you need to do is rethink your stocking altogether. As I mentioned in your other thread, the Clown Loaches and the Red Tailed Shark need to go. They are not appropriate for your tank. I would suggest replacing them with a nice school of about 6 cories. Also, I would up the number of Danios to at least 6 as well. Tanks that size are appropriate for small community fish and as you have started with small community fish, you really should continue on that theme.

You could probably keep the RTS if the tank is 3ft long, these fish grow rather slowly but will obtain around 5-6" and need some room to move. Personally Id move the clown loaches on as previously suggested you just dont have the room. Id add in a couple more leapard danios and personally I would return the neons as well, stick to something in the cyprinid family, the RTS and the danios will pester the neons to much IMO. Think about a small barb species like either a small group of cherry barbs or checker barbs...and have a single dwarf gourami be the *star* fish of the tank.
