I just arrived home with my new pet. Pictures below.
It is just under two month old and captive bred.

He is a bit stressed at the moment but eating well and will hopefully calm down soon.

I will give a prize of 5000 ac points to however guess the prize correctly within a 5 dollar margin. Ie if it cost 150$ and you guess 155$ you win but if you guess 156$ you don't. Please allow 5 other members to guess before you guess again. Happy guessing!

Here is the little quite finally:

It was one of the first 5 guesses. Narrows it down don't it;-)

As for species. I am not sure. They call all species by the same name here and he is to young to identify yet. He hasn't even gotten feathers everywhere yet. Should be able to tell in another month. I do however suspect it is a Mealy Amazon (Amazona farinosa)

Thanks for all the kind words

No one has hit the mark yet.

He hasn't got a name yet. Will get it in the coming days. I like to get to know pets a little before I name them to choose something that suits there personality. Allthoguh I consider naming axel which is both a name and the Swedish word for shoulder which is where he prefers to sit.

Great deal, good luck with the new feathered friend. How can you tell it's a male? (Fish are my thing, clueless on birds.)

William

Dont`know the gender. neither did the lady who sold it. to know requires surgery or dna test.
