What would be a predatory fish suitable for a 50-75 gallon fish tank? :help:

A leopard ctenopoma? Or how about a JD? Those are fun. Fire eels...they are a little less aggresseive though but still cool fish. Hmm...a pink tailed chalceus would look good in there...they are fairly exotic and fairly predatory...of course there are always oscars...one would look good in a 75...

There are a few Ploypterids that would do well in a 75. Also...there are several Serrasalmus genus piranhas that would do well in a 75. It depends on wheather you want tankmates or not?

A couple of takmates would be cool. But if there is an awesome solitary fish I might get it.

Bichirs are fairly predatory and can have tankmates. They are fun...

If you're thinking bitchers, then maybe look into a snake head.

Cer get a 75 not a 55.
you have more options for fish.
You can get an oscar and a couple of severums or silver dollars.
Get them small so they can grow together.Get the oscar last, let the other fish have the tank before you introduce the oscar. It would be a nice tank.

What tank mates?
Tankmates for a bichir could be an oscar or some SDs as long as they grow up together. Even a severum would do well with a bichir. Anything that doesn't get big enough to eat him or doesn't stay small enough for him to eat should be a fine tankmate. Hope this helps:22:

Ok that sounds pretty good. I really like how oscars look. I think that would be a nice tank.

Yeah, they really are beautiful fish. Just be sure to buy them together at about the same size, otherwise they might consider each other food. But you shouldn't run into this problem.
