I have about 36 or so baby kribs. It's been 2 weeks since she laid the eggs and about a week since she first brought them out. They are free swimming now and dont stay close to the parents and the male is getting to be mean to the female. The baby's are about 1/4 inch in length and I'm not sure if I can separate the parents from the young yet. Does anybody know what I should do.

Also my other tank has been cycling for 10 days and I'm not sure if its a good idea to put the parent kribs in that tank yet.

Do you have plenty of hiding places/caves for the parents? Mine bred about 4 months ago, the male hides in a log regularly and the female would stay near the babies. If they're in with other fish it's better to try separating the tank, though the parents a unbelivably good at keeping other fish away. Ensure there are enough hiding places then keep an eye on the parents. My babies are 4mths old now & about 3-4cm long, they're still in my mixed tank and healthy.
