When I read the title I thought someone was starting a 10 gallon tank to have an oscar fish in.:hmm3grin2orange:
Looking good, I love the look of sand as a substrate.

i thought the same!! looks great so far! thumbs2:
I'm with Postal on that one, I though for sure I was going to see an oscar stuffed in a 10 gallon. Then I saw the poster and I thought "Noooooo, he's smarter than that. Isn't he???"
I like the simple design. Sometimes simplistic is better than extravagant. Real cool little tank.

I went all over town today and nowhere had the plants I wanted. I did get some lilies for the pond though so it wasnt a complete waste of time. Ill go out on thursday and see if anywhere got anything in yet.

I mad a black background and decided to go with leaf litter as a substrate and ditch the dwarf hair grass. Im still gonna get some anachrias 1 bunch for the bottom and some to float on the top.

You can usually tell the difference between male and female cherries at the store. The males almost look like a different species because that are such a flaming red. Even when they're at a not so good place like petsmart i can easily tell the difference. Females aren't bad though :)

this is how a male will normally look at the store, I've seen some even brighter than this.

I saw a couple males at the store, Might pick them up. Some of the shapes looked like males and was oping they would be but im not seeing the color.:scry: Also might get some shrimp or something of that variety.
