I've been waiting for it for years now. Starcraft was the first PC game I really enjoyed, I spent weeks playing through the single-player game.

When I was younger I used to use hacks to screw around with people in Starcraft...

You can't imagine the types of fun you can create when you have 8 people in a game, and you have the ability to make it look like any of those people are saying whatever you want them to say... :hmm3grin2orange:

Long story short, I beat my friend in a fair game that he challenged me to, he got mad, accused me of cheating against him, and sent his clan after me to get me banned from b.net... His clan finally caught me and got b.net to ban my IP and CD key... I got back on 3 years later, but now it's just legitimate gaming for me... Not as amusing when you can't screw around with people, but at least the actual games are still fun.

Never used hacks on Warcraft, and never had any problems on their b.net servers, so that's cool.

Yes, very excited about StarCRACK 2. I'll be hooked I'm sure. There is an article in the current PC Gamer magazine. Looks great.

I've been waiting for SC2, and SC:Ghost since like 1999/2000 when the rumors started! We used to have SC tournaments in college a lot. Considering the age of the game it's incredible that it's still as popular as it is.

From what I heard, they already made Starcraft Ghost, but they had a bad team working on it and the final product was garbage. Since they had other very successful games out, and other more promising projects in the works, they abandoned the game and focused their promotions and resources on the games they knew would be successful.

I'm somewhat surprised they even did SC2. They've got a goldmine with the Warcraft and Diablo games. I'm looking forward to Diablo 3 as well. Blizzard produces the best games IMO.

I remember the first one when it came out. Was a nice game. They've taken so long releasing the sequel, now the problem is it's going to have to live up to all the hype surrounding it. If it turns out to be an average quality game that might not be enough to keep the hard core fans happen.

I remember the first time playing it, I was terran playing my step brother. Built a MASSIVE amount of bunkers (probably 200+) not knowing they had to be filled with ghost or marines...needless to say, I got completely destroyed in less then 5 minutes.

Thats what I like about Blizzard, they don't give release dates so if something is wrong they can fix it and not have to rush it into the market
