Unfortunately, Petsmart only labels its sword plants as assorted swords unless you buy them in a pot for an extra couple bucks, so I don't know what type of sword this is. I was thinking Amazon, but I'm not 100% certain. Does anybody know?

And a daughter plant. Should I take it off and plant it? Looks ready to me.

looks like a bleheri, the longer it stays on the better.
I got 30 from one stalk:hmm3grin2orange:

30 daughter plants from one stalk! That sounds awesome! So, frome what I've read, I take the plant off the stalk by twisting it carefully so as to preserve the stalk?

Bleheri huh? I'll have to look into them. Will that do okay in about 2 wpg?

yep, twist them off gently, mine was at 2.2wpg, they can get huge 28"

28"! I'm planning on putting it in my 35, which will have just shy of 2 wpg. I hope that will be enough, and that the 35 will be able to house the monster plant!

Just curious, how can one tell whether it is a bleheri or actual amazon? And will one root tab in the sand beneath it be enough ferts? I also have diy co2
