All--
So, i've read alot about various canister filters leaking and leaving messes on the floor, and i was wondering what the opinion is on popping a hole below the water line in the canister tubing? That way, if a leak did happen the siphon would be broke when the water level dropped and hit the hole. To make it fool proof i'd put a check valve(below the water line) in the return, and then a hole in the intake line. Does anyone think that would work? I just got done with maint on my 05(funny thing is it's getting louder, i must have some air some where) but might does this next time depending on what you folks think
