rainbows and a goldfish

I have a small goldfish that is left over from a while ago. I put it in my quarantine tank to keep the biofilter strong and to act as a dither fish so I can examine the new arrival. Anyway, it's currently in my 20g with the dwarf rainbows and the rainbows have adopted the goldfish into their school. I know rainbows will school with other fish, so I'm not sure if the bows are following the goldie or if the goldie is following the bows. It's cute either way.

my Australians will do the same thing! They love to school with my buenos aires tetras. It's pretty wild when you see 12 fish of 2 different species in a tight school.
