I did a water change today and decided to take the obly large ornament in the tank out..
Tonight I noticed on one of the piranhas side was a white cotton looing spot....he wont stay put so I can get a good look but its....there.
Any Ideas on a conservative treatment plan top start with?
Thanks alot
Daniel
Sounds like... something.
Sounds like a disease to be sure.
I have absolutely no expeirence about this but that sounds like Ich, maybe.
could be something else but Ich is the most common disease.

If it looks cottony, I would doubt it's ich. ESP if its a single spot.
Do toy have rokwork in the tank? anything that he could have scraped himself on while swimming?
Sounds to me liek it could be a cut which caught a secondary infection of some sort.

This thread was made a while ago and I know little more now, probably not Ich, although it could be fungus or a bruise/scrape.
Sadly this person clearly isn't here anymore.
