I was in my oscar tank replanting plants and I got to toochs corner, my big angry fish. And I'm sweeping sand back so its level since she's been digging a pit, her pit. And she gummed me and pushed my hand away! lol
All poofy and wide open mouth I was like... really?

start sweeping sand back so her pit is back to normal and she wouldn't let me near her corner. She'd get shy, then charge my hand lol
I said alright, you made your point. Thats your corner I will never touch it again haha.

Well, after I posted that I continued re-planting my plants. Almost morbidly curious to see if she would bite me. And she did, she nipped my knuckle. Didn't really hurt, but definitely gets her point across lol

hahaha, they're nuts. mine digs a pit too, he has yet to attack me... but i see him getting frustrated so i better watch out.

I used to have a 14" O that would bite my hand every time I cleaned the tank.I wasn't too bad most of the time but there were a few times that he drew blood.His bites were about 1 1/2" across. Those ones really hurt! lol

LOL! My bulldyke female oscar attacks anyones hand that comes around her. The best bet is to take a large net and keep it between your hand and the fish at all times. Oscars are such great fish :22:
