touch wood, snails on the decrease

Hi all

touch wood my snail problem looks like its getting under control.

What I have done is hand pick out some snails when doing at w/c, added 2 clown loaches, (they will be moved to the downstairs bigger tank when they have grown, then unto my mums 6ft tank) put cucumber in overnight and taken out am, washed all plants in warm water. and seen siamese eating snail eggs

Awesome! Usualy snails seem to never give up but it sounds like you handled them splendidly!

I love my snails.... you savages lol. Ultimately remove the excess food and indirectly I found out not replenishing the calcium in the tank, the snails will chill. But clown loaches will also help ( :
