hey every one im setting up a 75 gal tank and i want to make it a malawi tank im new to malawi fish and looking for a good colorful set up thats compatible i dont really konw much on all the types of fish ive been doing research can u guys hook me up with some good ideals on fish that i can look in to or a good stocking scheme

That's what I mainly have. For a 75g. tank, I'd suggest you pick 3-4 fish (species of mbuna) and build breeding groups of them ( 1male, 3-4 females per species or 2 males & 6-8 females). Sometime I'd like to have a tank of demasoni (they need to be in a group of at least 12 and the male to female ratio isn't so important...there's always exceptions in this hobbie lol), albino socolofi, and maingano. The demasoni and maingano have the same colors but maingano stripes go lengthways on the fish and demasoni bars are up and down. I think the all white of the albino socolofi would look great with them.
Decide what fish you like and tell us. We'll be glad to tell you if they are compatible or what not.
Here's a profile link that might help you choose. Make sure you pick mbuna. I wouldn't recommend mixing but there again exceptions can be made.
