I was just corresponding with a friend today and she told me a story of how horrible it was that she once worked in a fish processing plant. It really made me laugh, so I thought I'd start a thread on what some of our previous jobs were. Here are mine.

- Sales girl at Just Pants

- Shampoo girl/receptionist at hair salon

- Hairstylist (cosmetologist)

- Cashier at grocery store

- Cocktail waitress (by the way, this was the job I hated most. I'm terrible at holding heavy trays and I don't know anything about alcohol and drinks)

- Assistant to the Medical Coordinator at an animal control facility

Every job that I've had has been really cool, with the exception of the grocery cashier (even though it was a fun job, a fun store, and I kind of liked it). The cocktail waitress was a cool job, but I hated it because I sucked at it.

Local berry farm

Pizza Hut delivery boy (fun because I got to drive around, but annoying because everything smelled like pizza)

Sold Cutco knives (lol)

Local Hardware store

Bayer Material Science (Internship)

I haven't really had any really terrible jobs. At most, they are a bit boring (ie the dreaded cubicle)

I am years older with a bunch more jobs to hate. LOL

Full time waitress at 16.
Starting tending bar at 18 before doing so was legal at 18.
Then a stereo factory on the assembly line.
Then another factory all electrical as a press operator.
Another factory running huge presses called "sheerers."
Painted houses.
Drove tractor working in Christmas trees.
Back into tending bar (34 years total) and managed 3.
Had my own cleaning business.
Worked as a waitress.
Worked as a cashier in 3 different stores.

Sounds like a lot of jobs but I never had only one job at a time. Always worked 60 hours + a week at "something." Had 4 kids to raise.

You guys don't know what long hours and work is all about yet! :)

lol, my parents grew the cucumbers, and it was REALLY hard work, especially for a 9 year old. However that and tobacco work, did help me get the job at Pizza Hut. The manager used to work in tobacco and had seen people picking cucumbers, and she knew it was hard work, so she hired me knowing I knew how to work hard lol. SO, it did benefit me.

Well, at the ripe old age of 16, i have only worked two jobs.

-Every year i do inventory in an airplane hangar. I count nuts, bolts, and EVERYTHING that goes on a plane. A little monotonous, but i get to work with alot of cute girls, so it makes up for it:ezpi_wink1:

-The job that i like the most is working in ammunition retail. I sell ammo at the local (and non local) gun shows. I always work the biggest one in the world, that is in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I get payed about 500 a weekend, plus tips for hauling ammo. One guy didnt have any cash on him, so he gave me a 24 pack of soda. And when i was 13, a guy told me i was younger and more "able bodied", so i shoud go pull his truck around for him. I was a short 13 year old, and a guy asked me to pull around his HUGE dodge ram. I could barely reach the pedals and see over the steering wheel at the same time. IT WAS AWESOME!

That is scary, you count the nuts and bolts that go into a plane, and you have all those cute girls distracting you, 98,99,100 (cute girl walks by) 105,106,107, (she winks at you) 79.80.81:18:
