New 29 gallon Saltwater

I recently bought a 29 gallon established saltwater tank from someone who lives in my dorm hall at college. She has had the tank for 1 year. It contains a black ocellaris clownfish with a 6 stripe wrasse and some live rock. Its not in my possession yet but would it be ok to add another black clownfish to it? I kind of wanted a pair. Should I take out the current clownfish, rearrange the rock and then add them together?

Before taking the tank I would start by doing a lot of research. Saltwater requires more care then freshwater.

Before answering you question we would need to know how much live rock. If its a low amount of live rock it may be pushing its filtration limits, but if its at least 30lbs or more then I would say you may be able to add a 2nd clown, but it needs to be the same species, and needs to be much smaller then the current one, but be ready to separate them because the other may try to kill it. Taking the other out an rearranging the rock like you said will help increase the chances of them pairing up, but theres no 100% guarantee

I think the aquarium has around 15-20 lbs of live rock. It looks kind of sparse. I have been doing research everyday about saltwater aquariums including books from the library and forums like this website. How small should the second clownfish be? The one in there is about 2.5-3 inches. The wrasse is about 2 inches.

Find about 10lbs of fully cured LR to add to the tank and look for a clown that is about half the size of the one you have now.

Yup... and a removal of the exisiting fish, a minor rearrangement and reintroduction will help a great deal. But as it has been said there are no 100% guarantees.
