How many plecos ca I safely have in my 125gal tank?

I have a 125 gal tank and 2 plecos 10" long, How many can I safely have in my tank? I would like to put in one more. Also can somebody tell me how to tell which plecos I have?

I'd just look at some photos to see which plecos you've got. A common pleco can get pretty big. The general rule is one gallon of water to each inch of fully-grown fish. What other fish do you have in the tank?

How many plecos you can have depends on the decoration and the species. Some are aggressive others are peaceful.
