Hoa YEA BABY!

Love it! Great pics Brook! I specially love that fish with the white circles on it. It's beautiful? What is it? Is it some type of loach like the clown loach?

I got nothing new..........just had to come back for another look at that beautifil pokadot loach!!! I want one! I'd have to decide if it would go in the 50g or 125....probably more access to food in the 125 (more food goes in that tank.

Can they eat food for cichlids? (Pellets)

Don't get 1, get at least 3 mate as they love a bit of company,
once acclimatised they are not a difficult fish to keep and
will eat mostly anything you put in the tank, just give them
a varied diet, pellet, veggies, frozen shrimp/bloodworm etc.

All but two of my herbavores are gone so the protein probably wouldn't be an issue, bit can the malawi cichlids eat worms?

Now that I think about it (my herbavores all but gone) I could probably start throwing in little pieces of fish into the tank. I used to feed my Oscars little pieces of drozen fish that I got fishing. Hell of a lot cheaper than buying fish from the pet store! I think somewhere along the line here, I once asked if any type of fish can be fed to carnivors, no sure I ever got an answer though.

Brookfish

Mith, if you have herbivores in the tank I would pass on the
high protein foods, the loaches will still do ok.
I feed all my cichlids new life spectrum cichlid formula and they
thrive on it, the loaches eat it as well.
Regarding large carnivorous fish, feeding fresh fish you caught
yourself is definately a cheaper option.

Cool! I kind of figured that fish is fish! Maybe I'll thaw some out tonight and give them a little treat!
