Well,

Just bought my first book "The new marine Aquarium" From Amazon to start reading, as in 8 months time, im going to be ordering my 150G tank for my marine setup.

Everybody says that its a good book, but im also looking for a book on marine species. Anybody got any good examples or recommendations on this one??

Also, Is it possible that you can mix reef and Live rock??

Thanks indeed

Kai

Great choice of book. That book will answer many questions for you, including your one about Live Rock. :) But, yes, you can mix them. I've found that a good book for species information is The PocketExpert Guide: Marine Fishes by Scott Michael. His minimum tank sizes are a little on the small side, but that is my only complaint with it. Generally, I take his minimum tank size and add at least one size to it to get an accurate recommendation.

bloody hell!!!

I nearly bought that one!!!!!!!!

Will go back and get it me thinks!!!!

Thanks for the info goldbarb, we were going to use this setup just as a brackish tank, but the tank and the cabinet is a bespoke build, costing £1000, and we felt that it would be a waste of a beautiful tank to just for Catfish, so weve decided to plan a marine setup as my wife loves clownfish (or Nemos as she calls them!!), so im still at the planning and research stage so far.

Cheers

Kai
