one of my clowns has been scratching on the rocks for a little while now and now yesterday my other clown, i noticed had a white spot on his eye, then this morning the one clowns eye is puffy and cloudy. today i picked up some flakes with garlic, and a box of API triple sulfa antibacterial fish meds. i was just wondering if anyone has used this before and if it is reef and invert friendly.
the active ingredients are : 664mg of sodium sulfathiazole : 168mg of sodium sulfamethazine : 168mg of sodium sulfacetamide.

i should also say that there is no other white spots on any other fish and water perimeters are spot on

I've not used that, however it is always best to remove the fish to a hospital tank and treat it there.

You shouldn't put LR in a hospital tank unless you plan to leave it in the hospital tank for good. Chemicals from meds will soak into the LR; then if the LR is placed back into the display those chemicals will leech out and thats not good for corals. For hospital tanks for fish only, its find to use an HOB filter that has cycled filter media in it.
