look at that crab tank. Im just curious.... is there a filter in that tank? Is it possible to have such a tank without a filter for crabs?

What type of filter would suit that type of tank (with a low level water and land)

thanks in advance

If you look closely at the left side of the tank it looks like there is some kind of submersible filter laying against the side wall of the tank. Inverts need filtration just like fish.

There are a slew of in tank submersible filters available. Some can operate in as little as 2" of water.

the fluval 1 plus is a good low-level filter. it's pretty basic and can be laid down on the bottom of the tank.
