Nice work Mith, see all that craziness about wanting to do WC's before you were cycled and the tank was cloudy worked out, you trained yourself to be WC crazy, now you're obviously keeping great conditions for your fish.
Nice looking angels too. can't wait to see your mini me tank up and running. Are you thinking of doing it planted?

Looks like some juvie gold angels...possibly pearlscale theyres an aweful lot of shine to their sides they dont develope the pearling of the scales until maturity. Used to breed alot of those...show stopping fish when adult :22:
Congrats on the fry grandpa! lol

The breeder say they were new... not sure what that means. I'm wondering how to manage the babies... LOL. HE (the breeder) said leave them in my tank to help populate it. But I'm afraid the babies will be eaten, though I DO have a lot of places for them to hide. Penut (my littlest one) has grown substantially by hiding in the rocks. They try and get him, but he's too fast... LOL

I get the fish next Friday. Can't wait, though the angels he had at his house were juveniles with very little orange. But they were GORGEOUS as they were!

I got the gravel in minime tank... I'm waiting for the water to clear up a bit. I have two polishing pads from my cycled tank in there to help move the process along. I also put some bacteria in the tank. Forgot what it's called... but you add it the 1st, 7th and 14th day... though I'll have my fish by next Friday. I used water from my cycled tank (ya ya... I know, no bacteria in the water... lol)

The juveniles (angels) I saw today were very flashy, though they had very little orange in them. Will be exciting to see what the tank looks like with plants in it (real plants, not plastic)
LOBSTERNOOB..... ya, real plants this time around!

I knew the planted tank would get you!!! :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: Gorgeous colours on the angels.
I never even thought about Angel Fish until last week when I saw a couple of them last week in my OLD fish store. They were black and silver I think. Then today while I eas at the breeders house, he showed me his Angel Fish! Now I'm hooked!
Needless to say, I'll be posting some photos next week (Friday) when I get the fish!
