I just got a UV sterilizer for my tank, 9W Jebo, to hopefully take care of some issues I have been having. My question is where do I put it in my filter set up? I have an Eheim 2213, yes its huge for my 10g but I am planning to upgrade to a larger tank. Would it be best to place it above or below the Eheim's quick connects on I am assuming the outflow side?

Yes, 9W is excessive for 10 gallons, but it was only 30 bucks on ebay. Which is the cheapest by far that I could find. thumbs2:
I am trying to clear up an unknown cause of my fish flashing. They have been flashing for the past 3 weeks. I've treated for 3 weeks with anti-ich and fungal meds and the flashing only decreased a little bit. They have no white spots, no fungal growths and looked perfectly healthy. However, while it could be my imagination, the fish seem to be getting worse. I am noticing more injuries, presumably from flashing, and the fish acting more lethargic. They still eat like pigs and swim fine but I want to nail this before it gets worse.
My water is perfect with 0 ammonia and nitrites. I do weekly 30% water changes with vac. And yet it never seems to help their flashing. So I figured a UV unit could only help.
