I have a 5 min video of our reef and clownfish that we took with out digital camera that I'd like to edit. Only problem is our camera records in quicktime which isn't compatible with Windows Movie Maker. Is there a free converter that will convert quicktime to .mpeg, or is there a free video editor that works with quicktime? Thank you for any help

Never used it but would be worth a try. For $30 I think you can upgrade to quicktime pro which has editing but I am not positive.

Also, check the settings on your camera. Some units will have an option for AVI or MOV files. It won't convert previously taken videos but at least the new ones will be AVIs.
