I believe so with the annual killi species, but not all species.

ditto, i think the annuals do. alot of people sell annual killi eggs dry on ebay

annuals like to spawn in dirt, which in turn creates the dry egg. The reason they do this is because in the wild, they lay there eggs right before the dry season, and when the dry season comes it kills the parents and the eggs "hibernate" into the dry season is over, and do they same cycle. Now in aquaria, annuals lives about 2 years.

Annuals do.But do not let them get completely dry.Keep them in a container and that will help keep some moisture in there with them.If they completely dry out,they will never hatch.They need to be kept dry(out of water) for at least 3 months before you put them back into water for them to hatch.
