Bigger as in a step higher than a sub forum in "other aqaurium topics. I think theres been plenty of new folks joining and starting tanks, including me, So i think Saltwater should be its own forum, and have the sub-forums underneath it. Or at least higher up, right? Some times i pass this forum like twice then im like oh its right here.

Anyways just throwing out an idea, probably should go to thoughts and opinions, but i want to see what you guys have to say.thumbs2:

Its getting close to that point, but I don't think it is there yet. It should be under Beginner's Corner to make it easier for new people to find.

I think it definitely should since there's quite a few members with SW and many have decided to take the plunge, we should make a thread in thoughts and suggestions.

There is a SW forum here?? j/k But I agree to have SW forum and its own subforums. If anything else it will make it easier to navigate.

Im sure a lot of SW keepers that stop by this forum probably move on b/c it seems (to me atleast) that this forum is focused more so on the FW part of the aquatic community.

I put up a thread at the SW forum and was wondering if its ready to become bigger, or higher up, due to recent people starting tanks and being more popular and harder to find at the bottom. :ssmile:

Here's the thread: [Only Registered Users Can See Links.]

Thanks again

I wondered why it was buried so far down the list myself.
Definitely deserves a more visible ranking thumbs2: .

Moving the other thread here. No need to have two threads on same subject matter.

I've been wondering why so mant aquarium forums have loads of forums for every possible freshwater problem you could ever have, but only one forum for saltwater, which then has 4 subforums.

Seems to me like there should be a freshwater section and a saltwater section, and then have roughly the same forums in each section that the freshwater section gets now.

I can answer this one. I have been discussing this with William off and on for about 2-3 months. This is something that is in the plans to have happen, however with William in the middle of a transatlantic move, it will take a little while.
