This evening after work my SO and I took a 4mile hike into the woodland behind my house, its some really steep mountainous terrain but I think its lovely so I thought Id share. I also gathered some new rock for my 55G tanks remodelthumbs2:

Thanks everyone :) I grew up playing in this forest, its changed a bit since I took a hike this far back into it(probably over a year). You know I didnt see any mushrooms of any sort during the whole hike, normally ill see a patch or two about this time of year.

I'm totally jealous, your land is awesome, I love Siamese cats, and I've always wanted a Shepherd! I like that Cheech went hiking with you :) My Siamese is too fat and blind to leave the front porch!

Cheech is a strange cat, I think hes confused and thinks hes a dog. My SO and I joke that not only is got gender dismorphia but he has a species identity disorder as well. He was right along with us for the whole 4 miles...even across water he doesent care. A couple of the barn cats followed for a little while then they went back down.

Ya know we do have alot of wild life, smokie came about 3ft from catching a rabbit while we were up there. We get alot of deer that come down and take advantage of the free hay from the horses. We also have turkey, and one of the largest black bears on the the east coast was captured on my property and relocated somewhere else as he was being really destcructive to peoples property. The only thing he did to us was carry off a large bin that contained about 70lbs of pet food and eat it. I think they said he weighed in around 800lbs. We also have a pack of coyotes...Smokie has killed a few of them along the way, I dont mind as the coyotes are a barn cats nightmare. Ive lost quite a few cats over the years that have just vanished which I assume can be blamed on coyotes.

Thanks for the comments everyone :) Much appreciated
