Help!

Hey everyone....

well i just joined this forum, about a month into a ten gallon aquarium, and just two hours ago aquired a 30 Gallon salt water aquarium! I know this forum is for fresh water, at least I think it is. But can anyone help me.

I have it set up without anything plugged in an the water level is about a quarter full cause of transportation. but he said it has live sand an there's a bunch of like corral rocks in there an there's a few snails an crabs, real small. it's midnight so there's not much i can do, but what should i do first thing tomorrow to maintain the live sand an corral an then have time to research salt water tanks.

There is a saltwater category in the list of forums, I'm sure one of the Moderators can move this thread for you. I'm definately NO saltwater expert, wish i could help you out!

I love the colours and range of species available for a salt water aquarium, but I will be mastering the freshwater aquarium first. My son wants to try his hand at a saltwater tank with shrimp - all shrimp. He loves them. But he is 8 years old - I told him that it was a very good idea, but he would have to wait until he was old enough to own and care for such a tank.
