Here are some of my frontosa's:

This guy is the largest of my fronts at about 11"/28cm, and still growing (burundi variant). He likes to chase most of the others.

This kigoma used to be the largest for perhaps the first two years I had them (I got them all when they were 1"-1.5" four years ago),until it got outpaced by the burundi, he's currently perhaps a half-inch shorter in length than the big burundi and not as thick from top to bottom. Despite the smaller size, he's maintained the role of dominant frontosa since they were tiny. Quite the loner and recluse (but woe be any frontosa that approaches his den, they get run off pretty quick). There are two other 7-stripers in the tank a 6.5" and an 8-incher, they're the smallest fronts in the tank (no pics posted of them yet).

Here's a southern tanzanian variant (at about 10"). This one has the most blue pigmentation of all the ones I have and is also the greediest and most outgoing frontosa in the tank when it comes to eating treats:

Here are a couple of the above fish when they were a LOT smaller (back in 2005 when the 180gal was quite spacious), the tanzanian is at the left and burundi at the right:

Wow! Mr Burundi certianly has a bump doesn't he!

The kigoma always look... stately I think, LOL, I know that sounds silly but I do.

And the Tanzanians are just gorgous, their blues are amazing!

They are gorgeous kaybee, can't wait to add to mine!

Thanks for the pics kaybeethumbs2:

Thanks for the comments.

I started with six but lost one when it was still small. They share the 180gal with some lake malawi haps.

The substrate is a 60% / 40% mixture of aragonite sand and black tahitian moon sand.

Here are some tank shots of the 180gal:
