DANG. for my sw tank with the 2 powerheads and ugf, i needed either crushed coral or dolomite.

I called all the fish stored in a 10000000 mile radius of my place, NOONE HAS ANY.

And one store said dolomite and crushed coral are shit. They were honest
Sooooo, now i have to rip out the dang ugf and put in live sand and a HOB. no problem.

But just now, my dang light broke, and it quit lighting and is making spark noises unplugged, so i have to get a new light and the sand.

I have a whisper for 5-20g and a aquaclear mini on my 10g krib, auratus, and brichardi tank, and im wondering if it would hurt the biological filtration if i ripped of the whisper on the 10g cichlid and stuck it on my 10g SW???

I FINALLY figured out how to get the dam old light bulb out of the new light, and put in the marine-glo one. Its sweet, and has that blue actinic lighting.
That flaked shell substrate REALLY clouds the water even after washing, so it'll take 2 days to clear up.

And for $hits sake to top off it all, i found out my powerheads are for freshwater only, but screw it. They run fine, and all powerheads are made up of the same crap, so whatever.

And for $hits sake to top off it all, i found out my powerheads are for freshwater only, but screw it. They run fine, and all powerheads are made up of the same crap, so whatever.

The salt water is probably going to eat away the seals and you are going to be running 110 straight into your tank. Your fish will be floating and when you go to net him out... ZAP!

Remember that tanks don't always go smooth, regardless of the ammount of research you do before hand. Good luck with your new setup.
