freezing?!

oh man! i've been picking on you northern people so much about how wonderful my weather is...now i've just been told it's gonna freeze tonight. it's not supposed to freeze in april in central texas. i'm gonna have to find my long sleeve t-shirts and pants. and the worst part is i'm gonna have to put shoes on my feet. well at least it's not gonna snow.

Don't tell me that lol! I was going to ride my motorcycle this morning and when I walked outside I changed my mind real quick. Its april... whats up with that?

my husband will ride his motorcycle in anything. the colder it gets the more long johns he puts on. it get kinda funny when its really cold. he is so padded up his arms stick out :hmm3grin2orange:

Yeah, I am not the biggest guy around but when I put all my winter gear on I look like a big guy on a small bike :hmm3grin2orange:

The only thing about doing that is once I get to school I have to drag everything with me through out the day. I remember when the first time I rode during the winter time in 2007 it did not matter how cold it was I would go as long as there was no ice or rain in the forcast. I would ride 30-40m into san antonio from medina lake and once I got to town I would hope the light was red to feel the warmth from the other cars lol.

Thats awesome your husband rides in all weather. A true motorcyclist in my book!

i just checked the weather report again. typical of texas weather it has changed. now its not gonna quite get to freezing. (my gladiolias will be happy) now its going to be 34f over night and up to 82f in the afternoon. thanks for the parka offer NG, but it looks like i wont need it.

It kinda sucks as it was 75 year on sunday, and now tonight its 30 and flurrying...WTF?

yeah i have to drive around all night for work. some snow i can handle but when it ices we are not equipped or experienced enough to handle it. so im glad tonight will just be freezy and not wet.
