That would depend on what other fish you have in there. Can you list the current stock?

well i dont know what a gibby is but 10 inch anything in a 55 is too much, and the common pleco will out grow it too.. rehome those get a bunch of tetras and for a center piece i'd get a pair of GBR

cool as long as you dont try to keep him and that pleco in the 55 between the 2 they would need a 300 gallon tank my 55 is loaded with various tetras several bn plecs and 2 pair of GBR... busy as heck and probably overstocked but its very well filtered and i do 50-60 % water changes weekly

what i eventually want to do is take the 2 plecos back and get 2 more clowns and try to breed but would like a nice pair of somthing ive heard gbr are hard to take care of

What kind of driftwood and or rocks have you been looking at, or have access to?

Do you have plants in there?

Well first off I would bump up your serpaes to a good shoal of 10, minnows(I assume you have white clouds?) if so Id also bump them up to 10. GBRs arnt hard to take care of they just need good water quality, Bolivian rams IME are a hardier species. A pair would do nicely with those other fish and I would even go so far as to say that you could add a solo 3spot gourami or a pair of dwarf gouramies, and bump up your cories to 6-8. Of course I wouldnt add anything until your Gibby and common are re-homed, the bioload of that 10" Gibby alone is putting a big strain on your tank.
