Greetings all.
I'm in the United States, Indiana specifically, near Chicago Illinois.
I currently have two cats, one dog, and one aquarium. I am also an avid Bird enthusiast and maintain several feeders and liquid water all year long. Oh yeah, and I also have a husband too (oops, almost forgot! (blush))
I have had a variety of set-ups over the last 25 or so years. I am currently maintaining a 25 gal hexagonal aquarium with three Neons and a large Plecostomus which are all transfers from a 20 gal rectangular tank. To this I have added two Emperor Tetras and a Pictus Catfish.
Favorite fish that I have had over the years; Ghost Knife, Danios, Pictus Catfish (I think this is the same fish we used to call Angelicus back in the 1980s) and I always keep a plecostomus. I love their semi-prehistoric appearance!
I have neither the time, nor the space to maintain anything larger than what I have at this time, unfortunately. I have also never had the confidence to attempt a salt water habitat. I progressed as far as a couple of Cichlids once, but I couldn't seem to keep them alive. After that, I was really discouraged from moving to salt water. Seems a fresh water community aquarium is my "specialty" after all.
Thanx, and see ya in the tank!
