Hello everyone.

My fiancee and I just got our first tank, a little 10 gallon. We have two angelfish (the size of a quarter and the size of a nickel, or so), a bala shark (1.5 inch? pretty small), and two black mollies. I'm aware the former three will outgrow the 10 gallon pretty quickly, and I think I plan on getting rid of the mollies. But the set up will do for now.

Unfortunately I found these boards because I have a problem (which I'll post about once I get home from work today), but I absolutely love having an aquarium, so I was hoping on learning more and becoming a member of the community here, so I wanted to say hello :ezpi_wink1:

Welcome to AC. That bala shark is going to be a real tank-buster, since he tops out at 10 inches, hehe

Welcome to AC! At least you already know about the sizes of your current fish so people don't jump your bones right off the bat!

How long have you had the tank set up? Do you know about cycling? There's a great ebook you can download that will teach you a lot about your aquarium :)

Your Mollies might actually work in the ten gallon tank, you just need a bigger one for the others. Much Bigger. Ten gallons can be a lot of fun with a little more research. Of course, if bigger fish are your thing, the ten gallon would always make a good quarantine/hospital tank.
