View Full Version : Fighting conch eggs?

Woke up to find what looks like eggs on the front glass. I think they may be fighting conch eggs, but they could be something else. What do you think? They are also on other places in the tank as well.

not likely. Conchs will no climb the glass after they are more that 1/2" long. Looks more like Cerith eggs to me.

I started to think after posting our conchs were probably too small to reproduce, lol, but we just added 5 ceriths a few weeks ago. What is the chance of survival after they hatch?

After doing some research we found these will likely be fish and coral food, but there is a slim chance a few will survive

lol, I watched one of my Astrea snails eat half and I accidentally wiped out the 2nd half when I cleaned the glass

Great pic! I have never seen eggs on the glass like that before. Now I know what to look for if mine ever lay them.thumbs2: Glad some one knew what it was, LOL.
