Hello to everyone, I am new to the hobby and am currently researching what kind of fish would be complatible when I buy my tank. I have looked around and think that I am going to get the 55 Gal kit from wal-mart then upgrade as needed. I like the looks of the Jagur catfish and also the Figure 8 puffers however I want to have a variety of fish and dont want one fish to severly limit my choices. I also would like to try and have plants in this tank as well and I know that will limit me a little futher as well. I was just curious to see if anyone had any suggestions on whether or not these would be a good fish to try and have for a begginer and what kind of plants would be able to go in the tank with them. Any help would be appreciated :)

Welcome to the Fabulous AC!
The best advice I can give you is read the free e-book on the left and do your research before buying any fish.Some of them get real big fast and you will be looking for a huge tank in no time.
