I am going away for a week, so I bought a product called "Tetra Weekend." Will it work? I have a 29 gallon community tank with 13 fish. Will I use 1 or 2 blocks? The package says 2 for 29 to 40 gallon tanks, but I wonder if this will hurt the water quality.

Your fish will be ok without any food at all for a week. I would not recommend using a block feeder since it can affect your water quality in a negative way.

I would also suggest doing a good sized waterchange before you go. At least 50%.

Is there anyone that can swing by to feed your fish?

I agree...do a good water change and vac. If someone could swing by to feed the fish maybe twice during the week?

Good chance of coming home to dead fish with those weekend feeders, I would stay away from them myself. You would be better off to not feed, better yet if you can get someone to stop by and feed your fish, even if it is only once for the week, that would be the best option. I am not sure what type of fish you have but most SHOULD make it a week.
