i just bought a rock with 5-6 mushrooms on it, after putting it in my tank i noticed it has quite a few flatworms on it what would be the best way to get them out? should i jsut put that one rock in a seperate container and manually remove them??? any other ideas would be appreciated

yep, quarantine that one rock. if the whole tank has them now, treat the whole tank

or could i do a FW dip with that rock or will the mushrooms die because of it also there is some sponge on that rock and a bristleworm ( dont care if he dies or not)

Well, you want to keep the bristleworm and the mushrooms so a FW dip is not the best idea. I'd personally put it in a bucket to treat it. You won't be able to remove all the flatworms manually though, there will inevitably be some in the crevices of the rock that you won't even see.

well i talked to colby at the LFS and he told me to bring it in and he treated it with flatworm exit or something...WOW that stuff works awesome. he even stayed late and waited for me. Bayside Corals ROCKS!!!. now i put the rock back in my tank and at lights out notice a crab.

flatworm exit is good. just be sure to follow the instructions well, the liquid from dead flatworms can be toxic to the main tank

i am aware of that but just took rock back to the store and they treated it there. so now it is back and no flatworms. whoohoo
