I have been thinking of ordering a Zilla terrarium top for my 20 gallon long vivarium. They make a screen cage that fits over the top of the aquarium. They fit a 20 gallon long, or a 29 gallon. I think they make a 10 gallon version as well.

Has anyone used one of these? Is it decent?

1. Do the doors work well? keeping the critters inside but allowing enough access to the tank?

2. Is it strong enough to support decent lighting?

3. Can you put a heat lamp on it?

4. Is there a channel to run cords and airlines into the tank?

These are the things I would like to know. If anyone has used one, Please respond.

No, it's not just a lid. It has four sides and a top, like a screen cage that sits on top of the tank.

Here is a pic from their website

Right now we have a 20 gal long vivarium setup with a bunch of firebelly toad tadpoles in it. In four weeks or so, they are going to grow legs and we are going to need a more secure top.
