Hey guys i'm new here, I guessing you all ready knew that. I'm new to the whole aquairium thing. I bought a 10g starter kit and two fish from wal-mart, a green spotted puffer and a small pleco (i know it's such a terrible idea to buy fish there, but it was the only place i could find a green spotted puffer). Unfortunately i didn't know anything about owning fish, and now i must cycle with fish in my tank. My name is puff daddy cause that is the name of my GSP, just for those wondering haha.

Welcome to AC :D

If you are in the unfortunate situation of trying to cycle safely with fish i would say to keep a VERY close eye on your water parameters and start using a Bacteria booster as soon as possible to keep the toxic levels of ammonia and such in check.

Welcome to ac!!!thumbs2:

You are going to want to test ammona and nitrite daily and keep them around or below 1.0 via water changes.
As previously mentioned, a bacteria booster can help speed things up exponentially.

The best option by far is to contact someone you know who has an established tank, and get a small piece of used filter media to add to your filter.
