My water tests have been really good lately. I just took another test tonight and I have a PH of 7.0, Ammonia is 0, Nitrite is 0 and Nitrate is 0! I think I may be ready to add 2 Oto catfish this saturday!! What do you all think? The tank temp is also 82 (max, and rare) - 78. I have 4 Gold cloud minnows which are growing quite quickly and one very active Furcata Rainbow. Tank size is 30 gallons.

How long have the test rusults been as stated? If has only been 1 or 2 day's, you may want to wait a couple weeks.

I think you want to see some nitrate readings before thinking the cycle is complete.

How long have the fish been in the tank to cycle it? If you have only just put them in, then it's going to be a while before the tank cycles.

Agreed with above, we need a reference of time before we can give the proper advice about stocking and cycling

All of my fish have been in the tank for 3 weeks. I have had good water quality readings for one week. I have had zeros for 3 days. Before that Ammonia and Nitrites were low, max being 0.1 and before that 0.2. So you guys think it's too early to add two more fish?

Is the tank planted? If so they are probably absorbing the nitrates and giving you the 0 nitrate reading.
