Mr. Fish is my Man Betta. I'm trying new foods with him now. This round I gave him peas!

First off I had NO idea how much he'd like peas! I put some pieces in his tank and he immediately went for it, grabbed it (which I didn't know his little mouth could do), and made a swim for the sewer pipes!
He's hiding his food like a dog! lol!

Second I thought I had cut them up small enough for him to ingest but I guess not, poor guy.

so - do the peas soften up or am i going to have to try again - it's hours later and he STILL is at it.

I think you are suppose to take the outter shell off and feed them just the insides.

Wow its great to see he love that pea so much ahah. Very nice pictures

With peas you should take the outer shell off. Sometimes I like to also heat it up in the microwave for 15-30 seconds and then let it cool before feeding. This softens it up for easier eatting.

......and it does need to be chopped into bite size pieces for him. He's a cute little guy!
