My Aqueon Comfort Zone heater petered out this weekend. That was heating my shrimp tank. I "think" my shrimp are all okay, not sure. Soooo, I wouldn't advise buying those. This one was only a couple years old. :scry:

I bought one of Big Als brand heaters for my little 5 gallon breeding tank and it lasted about 6 days! I wouldn't be upset over a heater lasting two years.

Wow! That didn't last long. :spam:

I guess I am spoiled with the Visi-Therms. One I had was 10 years old and it still worked when I quit using it. thumbs2:

Some of the cheapies I got that come with 55 gallon kits are still working just great. Those were tetra heaters and still plugging along, working just great and totally accurate.

Depending on the type of shrimp. Some will do ok with in a large range of temps.

Heat them back up as slowly as possible for the best chance of survival
