and here, well I have a 55 gallon and need some help setting it up for saltwater so I decided to come here for advice and everything else. I'll be posting a thread in a min asking how to set it up in beginning saltwater

Firstly, welcome to the forum. Secondly, you are going to being doing yourself a gigantic favor if you buy a few books on keeping s/w aquariums and doing lots of research first. Folks are willing to help here, but intelligent questions as to how and whys are better.

I would also like to add that I love reptiles also I have 6 Leopard Geckos and a Mississippi Map Turtle oh I've had a pleco with him for a few years now also.

Thank you I thought I seen a beginner saltwater section but there isnt do you know where I can post a few questions about starting a saltwater tank?

Here are what some of the old salts here recommend:

The Conscientious Marine Aquarist: A Commonsense Handbook for Successful Saltwater Hobbyists (Microcosm/T.F.H. Professional) by Robert M. Fenner

There is another book by Michael S. Paletta whose title escapes me at the moment. but I'm sure someone will jump in and help me here with the correct title. Edit: The title is The New Marine Aquarium.

You can also click here (http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/settingupasaltwateraquarium.php) to get a jump start on your research with an article written by one of our members and start reading all of the relevant threads and posts in the saltwater section. I'm sure most of your questions have been asked and answered before.
