Hey everyone,

I moved one of my 10 gallons upstairs to my brothers room since he wanted something to watch before he goes to sleep at night. So, I let him pick out a fish, so we got a cardinal tetra to go along with the five I already had. My other brother and mother then decided it would be fine to add four tiger barbs, and a kuhli loach... I told them that they should have there own tank, and that they are to aggressive to be with the tetras (I think I'm right, if not please say) but he didn't believe me, so this post is to prove to him that they need their own tank. So he wanted me to ask you guys, so here we are.

P.S. My mother liked my 10 planted so much, she bought one of her own =D. I think I may giver her the tiger barbs if they can't go with the tetras.

i'd have to agree here, especially in a small tank the tigers are going to get aggressive

Thanks bush, I thought so. I wish I could make them understand. Unfortunatly my brother doesnt understand this. Looks like ill be setting up a new tank for them.

Minimum eight Tiger Barbs to diffuse the aggression. Next time, choose the fish for your brother's tank, but make him think he did.

I say 8 i still too little I have 8 in a 29g and they nip my cories top fin. Very curious fish:hmm3grin2orange: . I had cardinals and rasbora wih them before. They sometimes school with rasbora (don't know why ???) and don't really care about the cardinals.

LoL I should have added at least eight, as long as you don't keep them with slow fish and/or with flowing fins.
