help with black moors

is there a certain illness that makes some sort of white stuff come around the black moor's eyes? i have two black moors, 1 adult, and 1 several months old. when i arrived to my house they had white stuff surrounding their eyes. what cna i do to help them out?

It sounds like it may be Ich, esp if it's fuzzy looking. Here's an article I picked up on how to treat it.

Is the white stuff actually on the eye? And is the eye slightly bulging outwards or hazy at all? It could be popeye

I've got a black moor and he's susceptible to fungus & ich - constantly on is head and tail. I've used variou medications and am now onto Pimafix & Melafix to try something different, my other goldies are fine. I've found salts help as well - but only when medicating.
